It said there was a “matter-of-factness” about social drug use among young people that had extended into their adult lives.
The study also learned that for most of them this was not a problem. It didn’t lead to the breakdown of social order or destruction of lives.
“But far from being out of control, the majority of drug-taking adults appear to be pretty similar to those who seek evening and weekend time out, relaxation and fun through alcohol consumption.
“These adults do not reject the mainstream. Their lives, outside their drug use, sit comfortably amongst these values. However we see them, they appear to accept drug taking as a fairly ordinary, normal activity that is OK.”
And yet, we spend billions and kill thousands in a futile attempt to prevent them from leading their ordinary, normal lives.
It’s well beyond futile, it’s disgusting, it’s criminal. It is sad to think that the killings and violence in Mexico, and major drug producing and drug distributing countries for that matter, have become just another statistics. Normal and acceptable to many but not the ones who can change it.
While my cannabis use is “legal” for now I can’t help but be concerned over possible needless harm and heartache being delivered by LE. US District Attorney’s across America are chumping out on the “will of the voters” and really making it more difficult for people to get their meds. Once I’m out of medicine that’s it for me, I sure the hell don’t know who or where to go now.

Well it looks like it’s time for another Nutt sacking. How dare Ms. Aldridge allow her study to reflect a result so antithetical to government policy? Lots and lots of other research scientists have no problem getting their studies to conform to government policy. Ms. Aldridge is obviously one of those anti family values, pro addiction, lunatic anarchists on the payroll of George Soros. Very true. I just got a new job about a month ago. I was never asked about drug use and I wasnt piss tested. Also my managers have no doubt caught on to my lifestyle choices and they dont seem to care at all.
