U.N. not a place to find good policy

UN backs prohibitionist drug policies despite call for more ‘humane solution’

The first United Nations general assembly special session on drugs in almost two decades has approved an agreement that leaves in place the prohibitionist policies banning narcotics use, despite growing international discontent with the “war on drugs” – and the concerns of the nations that called the meeting. […]

The agreement adopted on the first day of the three-day summit included no criticism of the death penalty for drug crimes, and instead called for greater cooperation between nations, while maintaining the prohibitionist framework which criminalizes all drug use that is not for medical or scientific purposes.

The agreement – called an “outcome document” – was not a surprise for anyone in the room and was publicised in advance of the meeting and adopted almost immediately. […]

However, some advocacy groups have pointed to progress in the outcome document, especially in its call for promotion of opioid treatment programs and overdose medications, Naloxone being the best known.

And although the document avoided the words “harm reduction”, a common umbrella term in public health circles, the document called on nations to consider programs such as needle exchanges, which provide clean syringes to injection drug users. Such programs have been shown to reduce new cases of blood borne diseases, such as HIV and Hepatitis C.

Of course, you might think that the U.N. had a more enlightened approach if you read the LA Times.

Tom Angell caught them: LA Times Gets Fooled by Fake Drug War Press Release

But at least one newspaper got tricked into reporting fake news from the event.

According the Los Angeles Times:

As the summit opened Tuesday, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime announced new international recommendations, including the decriminalization of marijuana, universal access to controlled medicines, criminal justice system reforms including elimination of mandatory minimum jail sentences and abolition of the death penalty and acknowledging marijuana’s medical use.

“The science increasingly supports decriminalization and harm reduction over proscriptive, fear-based approaches,” UNODC Executive Director Yuri Fedotov said in a statement Tuesday. “It’s time to reverse the cycles of violence that occur wherever ‘drug wars’ are undertaken, and to abandon policies that exacerbate suffering.”

The UNODC also said it would reform its decision-making process to include a more diverse range of voices.

“We can begin to dismantle ‘just say no’ policies that result in millions needlessly killed and incarcerated — and that defy logic and science — and instead bring to the forefront humane solutions that are known to work,” said Kevin Campo, a spokesman for the drugs agency.

To advocates of ending the war on drugs, that sounds like great news. There’s only one problem: It’s all based on a fake press release claiming that UNODC was using cannabis holiday 4/20 to announce a big shift

That fake press release is titled “UNODC Unveils Historic “4/20″ Policy Redirect at UNGASS 2016.” Huh, yeah. Funny.

Of course, those of us who have followed Yuri Fedetov at all, would immediately recognize that quote couldn’t be from him.

Successful prank. Nice catch, Tom! (Note: The LA Times story is still up at this time.)

No, the U.N. leadership is not that open to reform (as the Guardian article so clearly notes). In fact, the Drug Policy Alliance reported that the U.N. was confiscating copies of the letter calling for the end of the drug war that were being handed out in front of the U.N.

UN Security was apparently ordered to confiscate the letter, and attendees were ordered to hand over their copies upon entering the building. According to a number of participants in the UN Special Session, they were told that the document was not allowed in the building. “As we were walking into the metal detectors right at the entrance, the security were confiscating it from people,” said Natalie Lyla Ginsberg, Policy and Advocacy Manager for Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). Ms. Ginsberg continued, “I went back to ask the security guard why, and he said he got orders from the UN to specifically take the newspapers. He said he was just following orders.”

Of course, the truth is that the U.N. is not going to be a leader on reform (just as we knew the U.S. government was never going to be a leader on reform. The UNGASS, though disappointingly predictable, did provide the impetus for publicity from a growing international group of reform-minded organizations and leaders. And that’s good.

Just as marijuana reform has been happening in the U.S. simply because the people began to realize that the U.S. government was outdated and irrelevant in its views, international drug policy reform will happen because individual countries start to think the same about the U.N.

Update: Steve Rolles at Transform said what I was thinking, only better: The drug warriors who derailed the UN drug policy summit have made a terrible miscalculation. Just go ahead and read it.

  1. Servetus says:

UNGASS is a prime example of how nations that mistreat their own citizens will mistreat other people and other nations. We need only look to the Chinese and Russian governments to know that an appeal to humanity regarding anything benefitting the individual will fall upon many deaf ears. What’s common in China and Russia is a record-breaking legacy of mass murder by its own leaders. Mao Zedong is credited with killing 62-million Chinese through his idiotic industrialization plan, while Stalin is estimated to have annihilated about 15-million Russians. Individualism is not tolerated. Death and misery are business as usual there.

What bothered me initially about UNGASS was the tendency toward overreach by the participating factions. While situations like drug executions in Indonesia are clearly inhumane, death penalty opponents shouldn’t expect something like a UN resolution to stop the killing, or that it be a step toward eliminating executions throughout the world. Countries are just like people. Nations don’t like being told what to do by outsiders. Such behavior is nevertheless a key to the solution of what could have been a successful UN resolution targeting a world drug enforcement crisis.

Had the attending nations focused on loosening up the treaty language by making it vague, and/or inserted a clause favoring national sovereignty over a nation’s own drug policies, recognizing that free nations are free to engage in solutions to their drug problems in experimental ways that allow disengagement from the usual primitive customs of punishment and persecution, we might now have a clear path out of drug enforcement’s repressive politics.

Such language could have eliminated any need by a government to appeal to the UN for a national or domestic drug policy change contrary to existing treaty policies, as was the case when Uruguay resigned its support of the treaties over marijuana legalization, and then was readmitted into favorable UN status through an application. The language could also have reflected the reality of what already exists in model nations with progressive drug policies, such as the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Portugal. Then as some nations succeed with advanced drug policies, other nations will be forced to consider the economic and social destruction brought about their own defective political philosophies. In order to compete favorably among the majority of nations, some will ultimately be forced to change. Others will not change.

  2. darkcycle says:

The countries most fiercely opposed to loosening the strictures are the very same ones who routinely use drug laws as cover for political executions. It’s a convenient cloak to hide them under, not that they really would bother to hide them otherwise. It’s just a way to give these murders a quick wash and rinse to make them more acceptable when they are called out on them. Prohibition has been so difficult to defeat precisely because our leaders find it excuses oh so much.

While other trials have studied the medical benefits of marijuana and cannabis extracts like cannabidiol, this is the first time regulators have allowed testing of the marijuana plant itself for the purpose of developing it into a legal medical drug.

It gets stranger and stranger in the world of drug bashing…

In an attempt to shut down free speech at Georgetown University, a Catholic priest condemned Planned Parenthood Director Cecile Richards’ scheduled appearance by comparing her to drug dealers and ISIS (cue scary music):

4-21-2016 — In an interview with Teresa Tomeo on Ave Maria Radio’s “Catholic Connection,” …displeased with the Catholic school’s welcoming of Richards was Fr. Frank Pavone, national director of Priests for Life[…]

He said he didn’t buy the argument that inviting someone like Richards to speak was allowing “inquiry into all different positions.”

“I mean, do we inquire, do we try to understand terrorism by inviting representatives of ISIS to come and speak?” he asked. “Or let’s get some of the biggest drug dealers in the country to come and talk about their business because, after all, we have to understand both sides of the issue of drug abuse. Why don’t we invite the biggest mobsters to come in because we have to understand both sides of the debate about organized crime? Are they doing that? Maybe I’m missing it, but do these universities invite these kinds of people too?”

“You know,” Tomeo said, “this is what I don’t get, why this issue is only talked about in terms of ‘both sides’ of a controversial issue when it comes to abortion and artificial contraception or even so-called same-sex marriage.”

Fair and balanced discussion can be terrifying. Fr. Pavone certainly wouldn’t want his mafia pals speaking openly about their use of the Vatican Bank (IOR) for laundering drug cash from Central and South America, Europe, and other countries, for the last five decades.

Fr. Pavone would probably be okay, however, with a speaking engagement by Archbishop Paul “You can’t run a church on Hail Marys” Marcinkus, the official liaison between the mafia and IOR and pope. That’s because Marcinkus would lie about Vatican ties to organized crime. Archbishop Marcinkus died at age 84 in 2006 in Sun City, Arizona, retired, protected by the Vatican’s sovereign state status, and ensconced in the money and beautiful women he had always enjoyed as the Holy See’s official middle man for vice.

Newest comment on the CBS article. ROGBOY wrote:

Fear for your country because of prohibition of drugs and the failed War on Drugs. The traffickers operate outside the laws that regulate, tax and provide legal protections for other businesses. Therefore, they belong to no nation or it’s laws. They make their own. To survive they have to influence the government and it’s institutions. They buy off politicians, judges, high level law enforcement and others to obtain IMPUNITY from prosecution. Once they obtain this protection they have cleared the way to go to the next phase, fear and intimidation of lower level officials and police. This involves pay offs and the real threat of death for those that refuse to cooperate. When they co-opt police officers the officers work in uniform to provide the traffickers police power to get things done, like delivering a load of drugs. Who going to suspect a police car of containing a shipment of drugs?

If they are bringing in drugs they are also bringing in this influence. It’s how they do business. It’s who they are. It’s what they do. Given enough time they will erode the systems of law and institutions we count on to protect us. It will be turned to protecting them. What politician making good money just for looking the other way wants to give it up. Also, giving it up is not an option. He would very likely die for trying. To see how this works check out the case of the 47 protesting students in Iguala, Mexico. They were picked up by the local police using their police powers. They were loaded into police vehicles and delivered to the local cartel which then killed all of them and burned their bodies. Two years later and no one has been charged or prosecuted in this incident.

You thinking, “Oh no, that can’t happen here”. Better wake up! It’s happening right now. Watch what happened to the family in Piketon, OH, who were growing marijuana, ie. competing with “others” in the market place for drugs. Eight people from the same family EXECUTED professionally. I doubt it was a family member upset about breakfast that did it.

I am not in favor of the use of drugs, alcohol or tobacco. But, I am in favor of legalization so this business can be brought back under the umbrella of our laws so it can be regulated, taxed and provided the same legal protections as the alcohol and tobacco businesses, two other really UGLY businesses. We can also deal with the damaging effects of the trade in the open light of day just like we do with alcohol and tobacco. Recover the cost of the War on Drugs, add to it the revenue from taxation on the trade and maybe we can do something for healing our federal budget problems. These businessmen would no longer need their militias and hitmen either. Undoubtedly the death rate among young people working in the trade would fall way down too.

Sembler is bipartisan, Same vermin pushing pisstasting and forfeiture bills in CA. These clowns are wearing bright neon green suits while yelling I hate America on the floor of the House and no one sees, hears or says anything?

How do they continue to get elected? Its like now it’s 1950 and the Nazi’s are still getting airtime to spread their filthy lies. Pisstasting drivers only brands them as cannabis users. That is their goal, fishing expeditions rounding up the fill in the blank. Scarlet letters or yellow arm bands and # tats. To maintain their Gravytrain regardless of American citizens. Imagine how they feel about foreign citizens. We see clearly each time they stick their pointy little heads up and spew garbage for one reason. Profits on prohibition.

As long as people think its a druggers problem and separate persecution by topic. No one is immune, and it will continue. As far as we have come we are legally no closer than when oBama took office. Talk, non-enforcement and NIDA and Sembler are maintaining their webs of deceit. The UN puppets are doing as they’re told.

All of the people have to start calling a spade a spade and stop letting the liars scream fire in crowded theaters. When these scum reach political positions they have to be impeached for endangering the general public with prohibition based on falsehoods and deception.

Letting Sembler get away with torture and ruining American and Italian lives is an insult to Justice and anyone who truly says they believe in the laws. Those merely going along are guilty of doing harm to American citizens. Those who lead them are committing an assault on Democracy itself. Sabet is the politically correct side of persecuting citizens while Sembler makes no bones about torturing kids, especially those with seizures.

    • Servetus says:

Mr. Alex, Jeb Bush is the key to unlocking Kevin Sabet’s schemes, as well as his gang affiliations.

My sources tell me that when Jeb Bush was a student at Tulane University, in New Orleans, Louisiana, he was dealing drugs just as he had when he was a student at Andover. No big thing, really, it was the 70s. But then someone asked Jeb why he wasn’t afraid of being busted for making sure his friends and frat-mates across the campus had all the various drugs they needed. Jeb replied it was because his dad (George H.W.) was director of the CIA (1976-7).

Jeb’s cryptic response is an odd statement to make under any circumstances. Questions arise. What did Jeb know about the CIA and its drugs, and when did he know it? Did George H. W. say something to him that made Jeb feel safe enough to distribute illegal drugs at Tulane–information that would likely have been classified, and might have involved an illegal breach of classified information? Was Jeb dealing drugs for the CIA/mafia? And how did Sabet get his assistant professorship at Florida State, one requiring so little scientific expertise, if not as a special favor from his good buddy Governor Jeb?

The thing one has to remember about Sabet’s game plan is he is Baha’i, which means he can’t be viewed as taking political sides, as Baha’i sees itself as encompassing all religions, all nations, and all cultures. The projected vision of Baha’i is internationalist in character to give it a universal reach. Sabet has partnered with former Congressman Patrick J. Kennedy, Jr., a Democrat, for instance, as well as Gov. Jeb, a former Republican governor of Florida, to create a politically balanced clown act.

So the questions you need to ask Kevin Sabet, or his associates, involve why are they connected to a known drug dealer (Jeb Bush) as part of the Sembler’s drug rehab scam, and how does Jeb Bush figure into Sabet’s job (academic cover) at Florida State? Sabet might also be queried to discover what he may know about what Jeb knows regarding the CIA connections to drug dealing, cocaine, heroin, etc., as it relates to President George H. W. Bush.

No worries… What did Paterick Kennedy do for his dying father, kept him off of cannabis for the good of his new career. That’s sacrificing for your family. The Uof F where Sabet steals a paycheck is known for their Shands Medical Teaching Hospital and keeping cannabis out of the medicine cabinet. Sabet’s bipartisan ties to Sembler and Bush firm up the Clinton Bush connections. One big happy fascist family.

Richard Branson reflects on some reasons UNGASS was derailed. The system was apparently hijacked and rigged to fail from the start:

April 22, 2016 — In the lead-up to UNgass in 2015, the Commission on Narcotic Drugs (or CND) held preparatory meetings with its 53 members. Many states who sit on the CND – China, Iran and Russia – favor repressive approaches to drug policy. The first mistake is that the CND should not have been allowed to “lead the process”.

The members of the CND were supposed to draft a declaration that would represent the interests and realities of all 193 member states. But the drafting process was obscure and tightly controlled by a self-appointed UNgass board. Inputs from non-members of the CND were by and large rejected. Substantive concerns were ignored. When the draft UNgass declaration was completed on 23 March 2016, it was far from representative. The second mistake is that the process should have been much more inclusive and representative.

The negotiations in the lead-up to UNgass throughout 2015 and the first three months of 2016 were neither transparent nor inclusive. The inputs of key UN agencies working on health, gender, human rights and development (along with two thirds of all UN member states) were excluded. A third mistake is that the UN Office on Drugs and Crime was put in charge and perpetuated a hardline criminal justice approach. [Emphasis added]

Weinholtz said his wife has been using marijuana to treat arthritis and chronic pain.

It appears too early to know if it is truly related to the illegal marijuana operation, and thus prohibition related. But even the possibility of an extreme example of the costs of prohibition do cause me to wonder how violence like this can quantified in a cost-benefit analysis- the type that often done by people like Jonathan Caulkins. How much “value of dependence averted” was generate by their deaths. How many “days of use” were saved? And that’s not to say that those cost/benefit believers approve of their deaths, but such calculations do seem to indicate that if asked, they would be forced to conclude it was worth it to society.

For all those vesting time or money in that outfit in New Jersey that promised them happiness, they can save themselves the trouble, and some money as well. Researchers at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam have succeeded in demonstrating that happiness is in one’s genes:

25-APR-2016 — For the first time in history, researchers have isolated the parts of the human genome that could explain the differences in how humans experience happiness. These are the findings of a large-scale international study in over 298,000 people, conducted by VU Amsterdam professors Meike Bartels (Genetics and Wellbeing) and Philipp Koellinger (Genoeconomics). The researchers found three genetic variants for happiness, two variants that can account for differences in symptoms of depression, and eleven locations on the human genome that could account for varying degrees of neuroticism. The genetic variants for happiness are mainly expressed in the central nervous system and the adrenal glands and pancreatic system. The results were published this week, in the journal Nature Genetics.

    AAAS Press Release: http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2016-04/vua-tfh042516.php

Who but the secular Dutch would seek to study the chemistry of happiness? The new genetics discovery comes with profound implications. Given knowledge of the genetic components of happiness, it is now easier for scientists to tailor new drugs that will work better than the old drugs to produce true joy—no matter what the human condition, including a prevalent addiction.

The chemistry of cheerfulness will emerge as a severe threat to political regimes that thrive on human unhappiness as a way of repressing and exploiting people for the perpetuation of economic and political gain. Feelings of exuberant ecstasy will challenge economists and war mongers, forcing them to adapt.

In what’s already a trend, certain religions will be forced out of business, no longer able to compete with the pill, and this time, it won’t be just the birth control pill. Countries such as Indonesia, Iran, China, and Russia will move to implement new death penalties for anyone taking the new happy pills. Puritanism and neo-Platonism will come under assault as never before. We will see the reactionaries react, while stopping at nothing to keep happiness from taking root. The purveyors of unhappiness, buzz-killers like Bill Bennett and Bill O’Reilly, will be up to their old tricks as usual, and they will fail, as usual. Watching the Blue Meanies implode over the consequences of the happy new discovery will be joyful all by itself.

It is now a proven fact that cannabis is a “gateway” drug. Obviously the rule that “anything bad that happens in the general vicinity of cannabis was caused by the cannabis” has been overlooked in reference to drinking alcohol and smoking tobacco. Of course the problems of those two items were caused by cannabis. Will America ever apologize to Philip Morris when it was those damm hippies fault? It’s all always caused by the cannabis. Even the hippies were caused by cannabis. Cannabis has now been exposed as the gateway drug to smoking tobacco and drinking alcohol addiction. I guess I was wrong and cannabis is still the Rodney Dangerfield of the governments naughty substances list.

The bill would allow states to legalize marijuana for medical use without federal interference, increase research into marijuana’s medical benefits, and reclassify its status as a dangerous drug. Obama replied:

“You know, I think I’d have to take a look at the details, but I’m on record as saying that not only do I think carefully prescribed medical use of marijuana may in fact be appropriate and we should follow the science as opposed to ideology on this issue, but I’m also on record as saying that the more we treat some of these issues related to drug abuse from a public-health model and not just from an incarceration model, the better off we’re going to be.”

Cannabis Law Repeal Not Cannabis Law Reform wrote:

Several campaign groups and individuals talk about “reforming” the cannabis laws; some talk of campaigning for gradual changes, licenses, limited decriminalisation, restrictions and control: some talk of step-at-a-time legalisation as if they were in control; some talk about “medical first”; some talk about compromise, as if we/they had something to offer other than simply stopping campaigning for what was asked for in return for it!!
We are not in a position to compromise or bargain, as campaigners wanting to destroy prohibition, simply because we have nothing to offer. It may or may not be called a “War on Drugs (users)/cannabis (users)” but it is not the consumers that are at war, it is they who are the victims.
Many have said “if we can get cannabis medicine first, then full legalisation will follow”; yet we have had legally prescribed opiates for decades but we still cannot legally grow opium and make opiates at home. There are many prescribable pharmaceutical drugs including Sativex cannabis sprays, in the UK; yet that has not changed the law.
If we are to talk about the INJUSTICE of cannabis prohibition and how it is applied, and about our Human Right or Private Life, Possessions, Beliefs, dignity and well-being, we cannot “compromise”. We either have those things or not; there is no halfway.
That is why some of us believe we should demand what we want – demand recognition of our Rights and the protection of law for all adults, freedom of choice, so long as we do no deliberate harm to others or their Rights
When talking in private, many campaigners for reform have said to me that they ultimately want that very same as I want, but they insist it has to be a step-at-a-time campaign.
Sounds to me that they are saying we should ask for less than we want and if we get it, we can ask for more. Oliver Twist style campaigning.
So do we campaign for reforms, then IF we see them put in place, ask for further reforms?
Or do we establish first our principles of Human Rights, Justice and equal law for all and base our campaigning on that?
I call upon all campaigns to adopt those principles and join together and fight for everyone, for all the people in this world who wish to grow and use this versatile plant in whatever ways they wish without interference from authority.

Same fight with corporate housing claiming pheromones are the same as second hand smoke. If that were the case everyone who passes a sewage plant is eating shit just because they smell it. Same Bullshit as i’ve posted about lowering it to a schedule#2 since 2009, dispelling the myth that it would free up the dispensaries. Not unless they are FDA approved as in drug stores. Homegrown raw cannabis will still be illegal and Hemp won’t even make the discussion.

It gets more complicated as some cities in California have banned smoking tobacco indoors in multi-unit structures such as apartments. The result is that every time apartment dwellers exit their buildings they can face a phalanx of tobacco smokers getting their nicky-fix on the sidewalks in front of their living quarters. Tobacco smoke wafts through the entire neighborhood, instead of depositing itself on the interior walls of a room, where I suspect it acts as an anti-bacterial agent and anti-mold surfactant.

Vaping eliminates a lot of the effects that irritate non-smokers, but we don’t see vaping being introduced into the legal codes as a civil solution. The prohibitionist mindset precludes any solution, even the technical ones, which don’t include abstinence.

Same with the bogus ad where the smoke goes through the air into another apartment to naturally a kid in a crib. Pheromones do not contain dissolved solids. Just the math of how many cubic ft of air compared to all of the smoke of a cigarette out doors. While factories spew vapor you can see the particulants. Cars trucks and buses created SMOG.

Paper mills or Gilroy CA have offensive odors through out neighborhoods. Smelling processed garlic doesn’t mean you can kick up your spaghetti by sneezing on it. Not to mention chemicals sprayed on people to make them smell less human. Chemical bug sprays and garden sprays. All neglected in the discussion or the warning signs posted that the laundry or dry cleaner chemical dumps may contain carcinogens but are not banned. They even ban BBQ’s. Probably for insurance or environmental regs.

A home for privacy, or a sanctuary from the stress of the day. Has joined profits over people. A way to reduce stress without inebriation or even a high. Stress sells more than content people. Such a shame Americans have given away their independence.

I know patients in corporate managed apartments banning all tobacco and cannabis use. Notices and evictions for smells outside. Buildings surrounded by parking lots and the street where people smoke or drive into after smoking. Arbitrary and capricious intimidation tactics no different than drug czars. Years of indoor smoking before the new rules are used as evidence of smoking.

Lots of smells bother people but that doesn’t mean we should necessarily ban them. A new tax paid bureaucracy to regulate and enforce. Driving people indoors has created more houses burned down. More concentrated smoke to produce actual second hand smoke. I’ve suggested a larger security deposit for cleaning apartments over dictating behavior. Most are willing to sit on the back porch.

The same paranoia has people in the same bacci madness as any religionist demonizing anything. I called a lawyer who was an anti-bacci zealot it turned out. He said landlords have the right to lie about seeing someone if they can’t produce evidence. I ask about hearsay and tse said it wasn’t. Said it was words against words but the judge would side with the prohibitionists. I ask him in what possible context is that considered justice. Said the best thing was for the tenant to quit. He said most importantly, don’t piss off the judge. Ego over Jurist Prudence. Our town has banned smoking on various streets and all public places. Including parks. Many hotels and motels are smoke free. Some have a few rooms set aside. Some casino’s still allow smoking.

At the end of the day. Smell doesn’t harm you so outdoor bans are political, not science. and provide politicians funding the same as cops and druggists with the Ganjawar. Driving people indoors. Raising prices only deters lower incomes and the legal choice of generic brands even more harmful due to more chemical adulterations from planting to packaging. Neglecting these adulterations allows drug warts to compare it equally to cannabis as all smoke harms. Including vapes as smoke.

Tossing in the nicotine addictive properties as a tangible harm in itself. It doesn’t accumulate and the doses are not large enough to do harm. Tars are not carcinogenic and the adulterants are hidden from discussion. So once again the end justifying the any means necessary to sell a new prohibition. Sir Walter Raleigh or hundreds of other cultures before the Western cigarettes were used. Medical records and include a number of things damaging lungs. Fire wood and coal burning. Breathing harsh chemicals or stale air in mines. Nothing on tobacco or cannabis smoking.

Cannabis opens small capillaries in the lungs and expectorates any pollutant from settling and causing problems. Yet this toads predictions are enough to make it law if passed. Bait and Switch selling lifestyles and order. I’m sick of it. No one learns or if they do, don’t deal with it. We finally get the people to see the nonsense 20 years ago and yet the persecution continues. Jim Crow still gets to broadcast and Robertson and Mussolini groupies have Cablenotnews to lay their propaganda on the people. Hilary creating a Butt Czar is all that’s missing. First they came for the poor, junkies and brown people, then the stoners and smokers, then the middle class and there was no one left to help.

In the future all new cars will come with a biohazard removal setting for their air filtration systems that can remove the aroma of marijuana from a car’s interior—as is the case for the new Tesla Model X, shown in the following video, that demonstrates this amazing accessory and its effectiveness. Auto pilot is another MJ friendly device.

All I can offer is a May Day bonbon, courtesy of Ruggles.

They’ve been sleeping on your shoulder,
They’ve been crying in your beer,
And They’ve sung you all Their sad lullabies,
And you thought They wanted sympathy and didn’t care
        for souls,
And They never were about to put you wise.
        But I’m telling you today,
That it ain’t the only way,
And there’s shit you won’t be eating any more–
They’ve been paying you to love it,
But the time has come to shove it,
        And it isn’ t a resistance, it’s a war.
Light one up before you mosey out that door,
Once you cuddled ’em and kissed ’em,
But we’re bringin’ down Their system,
        And it isn’t a resistance, it’s a war….

        Happy May y’all

      From another forum…

California adds to their bloated regulatory system. It will take 126 people and $25M to regulate marijuana for 1 year. 17 types of licenses? California has more state boards than Hasbro.

The U.N. is a good place to find globalist unelected bureaucrat rats who view the lumpen prole unwashed masses as taxable units and good little serfs who must do as they are told.
Too bad so sad that their Benetton ad rainbow unicorn pipe dream of all the serfs of earth holding hands and singing Kumbaya while bowing down to the blue flag with guns at their backs will never happen.
Meanwhile they salivate over controlling all the nations of earth under the guise of climate change.
