is this an ONDCP documentary?
Much of the progress made by the feline rights movement during the 1960s has now been effectively eroded. Catnip prohibition and the selective enforcement of herbaceous perennial laws have become the successor system to Jim Puss. They selectively target cats of all color, removing them from Felid society while barring them from the right to keep mice on the run, inspire us to dream up cool cartoon characters and teach us how to land on our feet.
Droopy Dog has to be the catnip czar in that!

Man, it’s like deja vu all over again — I must be experiencing flashbacks!
unlike humans and cannabis, this film suggests in the end that cats will have to decide for themselves if the risks of catnip are worth it.
Cats,,,the other white meat. During the depression if you sold rabbit meat you had to leave one foot attached so the customer knew thay were buying rabbit and not cat,,that is where the lucky rabbits foot came from,,,still trying to figure out how that worked out to be “lucky”.
Lucky you if your rabbit had a foot.

The wife was watching a documentary about the dust bowl in the midwest during the depression recently. Part of it was about how the local jack rabbits were starving and were swarming towns and eating anything that they could find. So all the people of one town went out when the rabbits arrived and started clubbing and stomping the rabbits. But they weren’t eating them later, those rabbits were nothing but skin and bones. If you don’t believe me I can’t fault you for that. I doubt I would have believed it without seeing it on film. Heck, I barely believe it now, and I did see it on film. Who knew that jack rabbits could be so vicious? I mean except the members of Monty Python’s Flying Circus of course.

Snoop to Educate Kids About Smoking Pot

LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — Rapper Snoop Lion (formerly known as Snoop Dogg) says he wants to help educate children on smoking weed.
“”Snoop, who coaches eight and nine year olds at the Orange County Junior All America Football League, says he wants to teach kids how to avoid irresponsible drug use.
He told GQ magazine that he’s not trying to push marijuana on kids.
“But if they wanted to, I would love to show them how,†he said. “The right way, so that way they won’t get nothing put in their s*** or overdose or trying some s*** that ain’t clean.â€
Snoop also has plans to back up his talk with some literature — a children’s book, to be exact.
The book, called “It’s Just a Plant: A Children’s Story of Marijuana,†is about a little girl who is taught the “awesomeness†of pot by her parents.””
Drug education our government should be using instead of the bullshit and lies they have relied on and is the reason we are all here,,,lies will not work.

Hundreds of people attended the first forum Tuesday night in Olympia. Many said they wanted licenses to grow, process or sell marijuana in what they called a new cottage industry in the state. Many also said people convicted of marijuana crimes shouldn’t be disqualified.
The liquor board is drafting rules to implement Initiative 502, which was approved in November by voters. It legalizes the possession of up to an ounce of marijuana and calls for state-licensed marijuana growers, processers and retail stores””

I thought it was poor form that Dr. Sabet linked twice to his new SAM project website and not once to the editorial he was critiquing. Some of us would prefer to read the whole thing and judge for ourselves instead of an enumerated list of cherry-picked nits. But I also found it ironic that those links are malformed and produce a 404 error response from HuffPo’s servers. Self-serves him right!

But the comments at the HuffPo article are golden. kevin hunt2012 left a link to a SAM parody site called SAMUEL (Smart Approaches 2 Marijuana Use… Except Legalization) that is absolutely brilliant! An excerpt from one of the fake SAM articles parodying Frum’s recent op-ed:

I’ve smoked catnip. It’s nice. It’s subtle, but i do believe it was not just a placebo. It has a sense of warmth and fuzziness about it. I stopped doing it because i bought it in a pet store and it’s not made for smoking so i don’t know if it was harmful, but if i could get my hands on some pure natural catnip, i definitely would smoke it. Who knows, maybe you can even cook with it and in high doses it might be a hell of a trip.
