But I enjoyed the go-it-alone suggestion:

That would sure ruffle some feathers.
If that were to happen, it would be interesting to see how quickly some ignorant Representative from the southern states called for a military invasion of Mexico.

I think that our government has proven beyond a shadow of doubt that they are the “reefer madness” they warned us about.

Isn’t it a shame that during the days of the National Prohibition Act of 1919 that America didn’t share a border with a country where drinking alcohol remained perfectly legal? If only Canada hadn’t waited until 1934 to open up it’s country, we might even have a working model for reference.

Everyone is making fun of Rick Perry this morning. OK, that’s nothing new but today it’s because he said we needed to build a pipeline from the Alberta oil sands to the US because every gallon of oil that we get from up there is a gallon of oil that we don’t have to buy from a foreign country. What, there are people that think that Canada won’t give it to us for free if we order them to do so? Heck, I think we should make them pay to build the pipeline. Seriously, this idea is even better than the US income tax for Canadians. But heck, let’s do both.

Also if the drug addiction problem is as large as the u.s. says it is after legalization in mexico open drug rehabs in Ciudad Juarez.Make them available to u.s. citizens. Good for health and employment.
