The DEA Has Been Given Permission To Investigate People Protesting George Floyd’s Death

The Drug Enforcement Administration has been granted sweeping new authority to “conduct covert surveillance” and collect intelligence on people participating in protests over the police killing of George Floyd according to a two-page memorandum obtained by BuzzFeed News. […]

Attorney General William Barr issued a statement Saturday following a night of widespread and at times violent protests in which he blamed, without providing evidence, “anarchistic and far left extremists, using Antifa-like tactics,” for the unrest. He said the FBI, DEA, US Marshals, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives would be “deployed to support local efforts to enforce federal law.”

I really hate this, but it may be time to remind people of my Drug War Victims page.

    It’s a done-deal.

    Public Security Minister Amir Ohana on Wednesday signaled support for easing enforcement of laws against marijuana use.

    Ohana, whose ministry oversees the police, was responding to a High Court of Justice petition urging the court to annul the criminalizing of recreational marijuana use and possession.
    “The stance of the incoming public security minister is… to minimize harm as much as possible to [otherwise] law-abiding citizens who have offenses linked to the drug,” the ministry’s response said.

    “Biden hasn’t just stoked America’s racial divisions over the course of his decades in Washington,” the blog post on donaldjtrump.com, which was later shared on Twitter by the technically unaffiliated super PAC America First, states. “Biden was the chief architect of mass incarceration and the War on Drugs, which targeted Black Americans.”

      We said it would happen. Once again, another vindication.

      The roles of today’s pols in their ramping up of the DrugWar in the 1980’s and 1990’s would come back to bite them in the political soft parts, in no small part thanks to demographics and attrition removing the biggest political supporters for the Draconian DrugWar.

      Now, it will become a huge liability to run on any platform that does not encompass re-legalization, as that (again, predicted here) would become the new political litmus test. Fail support for cannabis re-legalization, and you’ve just committed political hara kiri. A fact which which should have been obvious since 2012, but, you know about prohibs. They’re kinda…‘slow’, knowhutImean?
